A little About Us

inPlace Recruitment is a privately owned Australian recruitment agency. Our founder & Managing Director, Sandra Chiles established her company in 1981 as the first specialist travel and tourism recruitment agency in Australia. Over 30 years on and we are proudly still providing professional recruitment services to the travel and tourism industry as well as the hospitality industry and corporate event sector.

As a recruitment agency -we provide a range of integrated recruitment, assessment and selection services to job seekers and client companies. Our team all hold certification with the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association of Australia & New Zealand (RCSA) with Sandra awarded fellowship status.

We are great at keeping in touch with people and assisting them with new job opportunities throughout their career. Many job seekers we work with have been referred to us by friends and colleauges who have used our services. This has enabled us to build an extensive and active database of industry professionals.

Our History

We were originally known as Travel People! In May 2006 Sandra aquired Travel Personnel, merging their 12 years of travel and tourism recruitment expertise with Travel People.  In September of 2006 we rebranded to become inPlace Recruitment.
